My name is Veronica Ancheta – Mendez. I am the owner, baker, and designer of Minicakes.
Minicakes started as my self-taught baking journey. Growing up I’ve always been in love with art and design. I’ve dabbled in drawing, painting, calligraphy, crafts; you name it. I have been in the Applied Science and Tech industry for over 10 years with a diploma in Architectural Technology and Interior Design. After a few years at my corporate job, I needed a creative outlet. I explored baking and developed a passion for cakes and a love for sugar art. Baking gave me creative freedom outside of my regular 9-5. A few years ago I decided to devote more time into developing my craft.
Now I get to create beautiful cakes, and have the honour of being part of your celebration. Every cake is baked with love.
I am truly blessed to be able to do what I do, and am so grateful for every birthday, every wedding, every special occasion I get to bake for.
